September 7th to 11th will find Koh Samui buzzing with the lively Samui Festival, this year celebrating the 120th anniversary of our beloved island.
IVL villa guests can talk to their concierge to organize transportation to one of the many destinations around the island to watch concerts and muay Thai fights, participate in sports events, soak up the local culture at parades and art exhibitions or just eat and drink around the island.
Highlights of the 5 day festival include an Art Lane, Samui marathon held on September 9th and the exciting Tour of Samui bike race on Sunday September 10th, and the world’s longest free beach dinner buffet, to be held on Chaweng beach on September 9th. Thai boxing fights will be held every night at in Bophut.
A highlight of Samui Festival is definitely the live concerts. Both locals and tourists can enjoy concerts at two stages, one set up in the Nathon Market Square and one in Chaweng.
